About the Role:
Desert Elite Electric & Construction, Inc is looking for a skilled Plumber to join our growing team in Indio, CA! This is a temporary position with real potential to grow into a permanent role for the right candidate — a great opportunity to prove your skills and build a lasting career with us.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain residential and/or commercial plumbing systems
- Inspect and troubleshoot pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and drainage systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building plans
- Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Collaborate with construction and electrical crews on job sites
- Respond to service calls and complete repairs in a timely, professional manner
- Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a licensed or journeyman plumber
- Valid California plumber's license or apprenticeship certification preferred
- Working knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations in California
- Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and working in tight spaces
